The Berry Timer is NOW Berry Annoying

Alright, so I am over my due date.  And, the cute little Baby Due Date Timer that has been a fun thing to keep tabs on for the past few months with a little growing baby inside is loosing all its charm.  I was wondering what would happen when the timer arrived at Raspberry's due date.  Well, I got to find out.  It zeroed out and is now counting up.  Today it is telling me that I have two days to go until her due date.  I find this totally uncomforting and no longer cute.  So, bye bye Raspberry timer.

Cool Weather has come to South Texas -11/18/10

Buckaroo loves playing out on the porch, but especially enjoys it when the first little cool front blew in and he got to dress up in his Cowboy hat and new jacket (that Nana found for him).

ATTENTION!!! ATTENTION!!! IT IS D-DAY!!!

It is Raspberry's Due Date Today!!!
Apparently Raspberry is not interested in Due Date timers or anything of that sort.  So, we are just going to hang out and live life until she shows up!  Maybe if we start having a party she'll want to come join us!  :)

Happy Thanksgiving to You!

Happy Thanksgiving Ya'll from Texas!!!

Including Raspberry, who's still hanging out inside of Mama.

Waiting on a Woman...

Alright, so yesterday (Sunday) was a Full Moon.  And, though I know Full Moons aren't fool proof plans for having a baby come I was kind of hoping it would influence our little woman to come a bit earlier.  It would have been nice to have her over the weekend so we could have had more family time up front.  Buckaroo came four days early...so if Raspberry wants to be competitive she has till 6:01pm tonight to break her brother's record.

However, given that Raspberry is a WOMAN...my husband, who generally has this as his theme song for ME, reminded me of it for Raspberry last night so I thought I would share it with you.

Enjoy!

Yes, I am BRIBING my Daughter!

 So here's the Bribe:

Come Before Thanksgiving and you will get to wear this adorable bib Mommy just made for you!
Come after Thanksgiving and you will have to wait ONE WHOLE YEAR before you wear it!!!!!!

So, Miss Raspberry, What's it going to be???

I sure hope she chooses to come before Thanksgiving.  I saw my OB yesterday (1cm/50% thinned out) and her teasing prediction is tomorrow, Friday!  I'll take it!  The full moon is Sunday so I am at least hoping for this weekend.  If not Raspberry will have just a few short days to hurry up and make up her mind to come before Thanksgiving...that way she and Bib Brother can match  (click here to see Buckaroo's Thanksgiving garb)!

So, start praying ya'll.  This week or weekend sometime!!!

Buckaroo and Raspberry's Room!

Welcome to Buckaroo and Raspberry's New Room!!!

Yes, I have officially finished putting together the kids room.  As you can tell (once you scroll through the pictures) we have a Texas theme that runs throughout the room (Buckaroo's original nursery) and I've added touches of purple (to Buckaroo's Blue and Sage) with a few Carousel Horses for a special Raspberry feel!
So, let's begin the tour!!!

My sisters and I made this post for Buckaroo when he came home from the NICU.
Then I found the 'Little Buckaroo XING' at a feed store months ago and think it is perfect for my two little buckaroos!

This is what the room looks like when you are standing in the door way looking in

We have Texas' greatest Cowdog as our Head of Ranch Security
(This is the door leading out of the kids room-Left and their closet-Right)

Buckaroo's Bunk Bed...what could be better for a little Buckaroo then a real bunk bed?

(Yes, the baby tub and Moses basket are sitting on the top bunk.  Which will double as my special 'out of the way spot' since storage is limited in this house.)

Special toys on top, blankets, towels, sheets on the second shelf, and toys on the bottom two shelves.

It was quite a trick to get all of this in one room and still accessible, but I managed!

Here we have Raspberry's dresser (which Becca and I painted this year) which also doubles as the changing table.  And, Buckaroo's dresser (keepsake storage) is the brown one to the right.

Buckaroo's Texas Moon and Stars
Plus pictures of my baby! My china tea set and Carousel Horses from when I was a little girl.

Baby's bed already to receive her!

My Great Grandfather gave me this dolly cradle...and now Raspberry will get to play with it!

Buckaroo's and Raspberry's bags

All we need is a baby in here!

Oh and last but not least...a new feature I just added in recent weeks are these Sage Green BLACKOUT curtains.  Yes, they do wonders (especially during nap time) so I am loving them.

Hope you enjoyed your tour!

Ride Em' Buckaroo!!!!

We have a new horse!!!  A big red horse!  And, Buckaroo and climb up and ride all by himself!!!

 Here they come!!!

I Love the smile on Buckaroo's face!!!

 Giddy up!

Awww...the love of a father!
How's that for a Happy Buckaroo?  Daddy is just so much fun to play with!

More Blessings for the Berry...The Raspberry that is!

This past Saturday my Grandma hosted a fun breakfast for the family.  It was a special time of getting together to celebrate the new life God have given us and my family blessed me not only with a wonderful breakfast, but also some very nice presents to help welcome Raspberry into this world.

Thank you all so MUCH!!!

Such sweet things for our little girl

Check out the too cute socks that look like shoes and the beautiful diaper bag too!  We are very blessed!

A Play Place for the Buckaroo!!!

Our porch was in need of repair.  The black mesh that was used originally between the dog and the weather had just given out.  And, as Buckaroo could now escape and get off the porch...we needed to do something right away to ensure that our little Buckaroo had a safe fun place to play.
